Derek has nearly two decades of large CPA firm experience. He specializes in directing international tax engagements, including inbound, outbound, compliance, planning, consulting, and startups for global high-net-worth families, corporations, and partnerships. His skill set includes knowledge of U.S. domestic tax as well as international tax related to these tasks.

Derek holds both his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is a member of the AICPA and ALCPA, and a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside of work, Derek enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with his family, including his wife and two teenage daughters.
