The S&P 500 closed around 5,851 yesterday, slightly higher than Brooke predicted. Earnings are going to play a big part in carrying us into 2025 and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the S&P goes to 6,000 by year end.

 

Update on 11/11/2024:

The S&P 500 reached the 6,000 milestone this morning (11/11/2024). As Brooke shared in her CNBC interview, she predicted that the S&P 500 would reach the 6,000 mark by year-end, but she didn’t think it would hit that target just two weeks later.

Stocks surged following the Federal Reserve’s 25-basis point rate cut last week. We’re also seeing less market volatility and positive sentiment, which have all contributed to the S&P 500 hitting 6,000.
